Workforce Analytics
Workforce analytics makes strategic analysis easier by converting transactional data into a comprehensive collection of time-trending indicators and dimensions. Metrics packs with specified metrics (e.g., headcounts, promotions, and hiring) and dimensions can be deployed (i.e., locations, business units, and job levels).
Workforce Planning
Workforce planning allows you to forecast workforce demands, plan for vacancies, and establish new positions. You can use supply and demand projections for both short-term and long-term workforce planning goals by starting with a strategic study of present and future situations.
Deployment Models
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite is available in four deployment models: talent hybrid, core hybrid, full cloud HCM, and side-by-side. Here’s a quick rundown of each:
Talent Hybrid
Customers who utilize either on-premise SAP ERP or on-premise SAP S/4HANA for core HR activities and SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite for talent management employ the talent hybrid approach.
Core Hybrid
When running Employee Central on the cloud, customers will use the basic hybrid model. However, SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA do not support payroll or time management. Whether or not other SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite applications are in use, this is true.
Full Cloud HCM
The SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite, which includes Employee Central Payroll, is included in the comprehensive cloud HCM paradigm. Because SAP rookies may not yet have an on-premise record, this is the most likely model for them to adopt.

Side-by-Side
Customers can use the side-by-side architecture to run SAP ERP HCM and Employee Central as two systems of record simultaneously. Users can synchronize and integrate data between the two systems while keeping individual master system IDs for a set of employees.
